There are sections without speed limits, but some areas do have speed limits (like around junctions, and such). The fastest I drove was 160 km/h, which is just about 100 mp/h. What is scary, is when you drive at that speed, and people start passing you ;)
Is it true that there is no speed limit on the autobahn? How fast did you go? The inn where you stayed was very nice and the views were awesome too.
